So it would seem that it is actually the expand tree action that is the culprit. If however, I do press the expand tree button, the bug is in full effect. This is true also for the rc2 isos, installing from CDrom. The dependance's window appear and my keyboard and touchpad became inefficient. Impossible to do something else than turn off power.
