Also, removed the line: NOZEROCONF="yes" from /etc/sysconfig/network to restore it to its original state. Then ran "/etc/init.d/network restart". In drakconnect, a static IP has been assigned and the box for dhcp is unchecked. But the dhcp-client is still trying to get a dhcp address (in this case it has failed).
