Martin, who knows which bug is which if you don't give enough detail. This one
is so vague that many different bugs were described here. Levi's problem is not
1701, and 1222 (which is a duplicate) has been receiving attention. But I could
not discern whether this bug was a duplicate of 1222 or not.

Then John Allen comes and posts here that dhclient should be used (sure, it
works, but it doesn't help fix the bug).

I am assuming the original poster's bug is fixed by the newer dhcp packages
(fixing dns servers not added to resolv.conf if the dhcp server does not provide
a domain name).

If your bug is not exactly that one, and is not fixed by the newer dhcp packages
(.5mdk), please file a new bug, with a good enough description that we know it
is not a duplicate. (Levi, that may mean you).

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 1222 ***

DHCP doesnt work for me. I access the internet through a hardware router.
I have to set my IP and the Gateway manually to get Internet Access.
