Trying a KDE app in iceWM kbuildsycoca running: Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display "20:0 DCOP aborting call from 'anonymous-1840' to 'kcontrol' ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCOP communication error' If I run a qt only app I get the same error as above except the last two lines (starting DCOP ERROR) are missing. BTW the identical behavior can be found using a nested window as you find int vnc. James
