This is not related to menudrake. Maybe gnome-session or an equivalent in kde.
Are you using Gnome or KDE or other ?

description:
Whenever I click on logout "user...," I get "end session for user" instead of the a
logout
screen that gives me the option to logout of user, reboot or shutdown. When I click on
"end session for user" it ends the session but restarts it automatically. Then when I
click
on logout of user I get the option to logout of user, reboot or shutdown. So when I
ever I
need to shutdown or reboot my machine I have to first end my session which then starts
it again then i can shutdown or reboot by click on logout of user.
