It seems kde has a controlling influence when it comes to this behavior: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg61227.html "try this (i think it's what you want): open the 'mandrake control center" and in 'boot' choose to disable autologin.... then.... open the 'kde control panel' and in 'system', 'login manager', open the 'convenience' tab and in 'administrator mode', enable the 'automatic login' feature. :) -- Alan" ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: RESOLVED creation_date: description: Whenever I click on logout "user...," I get "end session for user" instead of the a logout screen that gives me the option to logout of user, reboot or shutdown. When I click on "end session for user" it ends the session but restarts it automatically. Then when I click on logout of user I get the option to logout of user, reboot or shutdown. So when I ever I need to shutdown or reboot my machine I have to first end my session which then starts it again then i can shutdown or reboot by click on logout of user.
