My USB keyboard also does not work during install in Mandrake Linux 9.1rc2 -
this may or may not be a kernel bug. Nevertheless, I'd like to point out that
the keyboard works in Redhat 8.0... Of course, then, restarting the computer,
once any Linux has used the USB keyboard, it no longer works for anything - I
have to disconnect the power cable to get any software to recognize it. I
suppose this means it is indeed a kernel bug, somehow messing up the BIOS...?

description:
When installing via boot CDs, USB is able to identify and work with USB mice,
but not USB keyboards. This will make instalation onto platforms without PS/2 or
AT keyboards difficult at best.
