A bit offtopic in this thread... Last week the idea came up to have your buildscripts post to bugzilla on failed packages. What do you think of it?
At the moment, I don't think it's realistic. As long as we don't have a reliable solution for finding the real dependancies of the -devel packages, it's really no use. If we want to get it right I think we should focus on fixing that fundemental problem first.
True.Those scripts do make it obvious what buildrequires are needed/missing, though even then it is time consuming to fix them, especially for hundreds of packages :-(
