Only 7 packages in main (mandrake-release,drakxtools,2*koffice-i18n,mkcd,kernel,mandrake-galaxy) have been updated in the past 4 days, so I don't think that it was an "update". Look at your ~/.fonts.conf, try a new account etc. Fonts look fine here (incl Luxi Sans 10 and 12), on cooker as of Sunday (didn't update last night, and our cooker mirror is about a day behind).
