Weird, I did an update on Friday, and the fonts looked fine, I did an update 
this morning and they look terrible. 10pt looks OK, 12pt does not.

To see if you really also have the problem you need to start your X serevr 
with -dpi 90, matching the Xresources Xft.dpi setting.
