I am also having a problem booting into RC2. I have used it since its release
and then today, after rebooting from Windows (got it set to dual boot) RC2 hung
up at "detecting new hardware" I let it sit there until the screen blanked out
and nothing was responding. I have no new hardware. I had to unplug to reboot.
Upon reboot, it hung at the same place. I did the same thing two more times.
Here is a summary of my hardware:

description:
I don't know if this bug is caused by drakboot but there is no better category.
Sometimes it is impossible to reboot the system. When you logout from KDE
you get to the logion screen. There you have the possibility to login again,
to reboot or halt the system. Normally in the reboot dialog all the LILO boot
options are listed such as linux, windows, floppy etc. But sometimes this
dialog is empty and therefor rebooting impossible (halt is the only option).
