I would just make sure you:
1) Don't have any IP set as a GATEWAY
2) are only running the dhcp server on the ethernet interface

I have two machines : A with DHCP server, an Ethernet card and a Modem. It is
connected to the ISP with the modem. Machine B is a laptop, with an Ethernet
card. I connect B to A with a crosswired RJ45 cable, and its IP address is given
by the DHCP server from A.

Strangely, when B is connected to A, I can connect to the ISP, but cannot
navigate on Internet. The DNS seems to be blocked. I have to disconnect B to be
able to recall my ISP and the DNS works. As soon as I reconnect B, I cannot
reach any web page anymore with A.
What's wrong in the configuration ?
