Yes, it is the same. When I used the https URL, I was able to download and
install the packages through RPMDrake.  Interestingly, though, there was no
progress bar for the downloading; the RPMDrake window just stopped responding
for the duration of the download, and then displayed the prompt about the
package signatures being wrong, after which everything went as expected.

In current cooker, I tried to install the Acrobat Reader from the Commercial
area of MandrakeClub, which had been added as a source via urpmi.addmedia.

RPMDrake repeatedly downloaded the package and claimed that it was corrupted.  I
downloaded the package manually and installed it via "rpm -i" with no problem. 
This also occurs with the Acrobat Netscape Plugin RPM from the same source.
