My god. You can't be serious. If that was a 'direct answer' on how to package two libraries for the same application, I'm glad you're not writing the user docs. :-)


Now, for building i586 & i686 libraries. Well, you build it twice with the proper flags, in separate directories. Then, %makeinstall (whatever installation style) the default ones, aka i586. At last, manually copy the i686 libs to the appropriate directories. There are surely other means, but this is what I do for glibc.
