You would be right if youy phrased it so:
Microsoft constantly add features to their software that work in new
and unexpected (usually non-standard in some way) ways. They also try
very hard to `integrate' all of their software, which is sales-speak
for locking everyone out of it by making it an inscrutible lump.
The nett effect is to induce people to use only the latest, greatest
of Microsoft's revenue-raisers - er, maybe I mean products.
