kprinter crashed here for anything I try and print, taking whichever app
I used with it. Someone thought it might only affect systems using
nss_ldap without matching local accounts.

There are quite a few KDE bugs that have not been addressed at all. This
is one of them. I listed a few others in the "important bugs" thread.
