Same problem here in mandrake 9.1 with the kernel. Mandrake will try to use the
/dev/hdx entries insted of /dev/ataraid/dx (i'm not sure how to force it). As i
found the hardway, the installer manages to screw up some existing data (in my
case) on the hds if it tried access thoug /dev/hdx.

Hi!
I recently saw that there is some Linux open source drivers for the
HPT370/370A Raid controllers from Highpoint.
(http://www.highpoint-tech.com/370drivers_down.htm and scroll down the
page).
Do this support will be included in Mandrake 9.X?
Regards,
Gregorio
