No, jack has no init script. Don't know why you'd want one really. I uses a lot of resources, dedicates the soundcard to one user, and excludes all ALSA/OSS apps.


There's a lot of work going on in Jack CVS right now about this journalled filesystem problem. Maybe they will figure out a simpler solution.

I was testing it last night on my laptop, and the latency was horrible no matter what setup I tried. Will play with it some more this weekend.
