Hi,
Today I installed latest cooker. I could install it directly(no need to upgrade from
old mdk9.1 :-).
But I can't see any japanese words on gtk2. I think latest pango has some bugs.
I tested drakconf, rox, gdm,..they don't show any japanese words.
For example,
--
$ rox

** (ROX-Filer:2115): WARNING **: No builtin or dynamically loaded modules
were found. Pango will not work correctly. This probably means
there was an error in the creation of:
  '/etc/pango/pango.modules'
You may be able to recreate this file by running pango-querymodules.
--

I tried pango-querymodules, but nothing changed.
So I removed latest pango and libpango, then
I installed old mdk9.1's ones. Now I can see all non-european characters on
gtk2.
Maybe latest mdk's pango has some bugs for non-european languages.

Thanks for reading,
