The first bug report was post-beta3, but I see after reviewing the bugs
again that the fix was listed, so it *should* have been fixed, but again
history shows hardware issues should be reported early in beta (ie beta1
or 2) if they are to be fixed (although a number of other hardware
issues were fixed ...). The frame buffer issue was first reported at
about the same time as the PDC 20276 issue, and also wasn't fixed ...
