I created a 23.5MB NTFS partition with Windows XP
and copied some files from cooker/i586/images/ to it
so that you can verify reading them... ;-)
(if you need...)

You can get it at:
http://www.iki.fi/tmb/ntfs_part_23.5M.img.bz2

md5sum:
32e3da0d99d2de63cfaf8475c3b8bd26 ntfs_part_23.5M.img

I have verified with the older kernels that had ntfs support,
and the loop mounting works as it should...

Have fun ...

Thomas

PS. Now I have to get some sleep...
I'm seeing 2 monitors even if I have only one ;-)
