well, you can mail, so you can probably read the message with the patch.

Yes it could very well be a kernel issue, it is a timing problem, and the 
old kernel also has the problem. It is triggered by something else. 
However, nobody here seems willing to test the patch so I can be sure of 
it.

I completely agree. But there have been worse fights here on cooker. Most 
people can handle it.

Hey, I do not work for mdk either, and it is ages ago since I have done 
a real program. But that shouldn't keep you from just trying a patch.
I just found it silly that a large number of people kept posting about the 
panic in previous kernels while thomas already pointed to the problem. I 
wanted to stop this from being another pointless thread.

I'm currently compiling a kernel with the patch, when it doesn't work you 
can all start blaming me. Alternatively you can post a stack trace.
