Hey, you missed a point !!! You saw wrong dependancies on libelf because I 
just rebuild it, but the first was rpm-devel itself !

[EMAIL PROTECTED] SPECS]$ rpm -qp --requires /RPMS/rpm-devel-4.2-10mdk.i586.rpm
[...]
devel(libbz2)
devel(libelf)
devel(libpopt)
devel(librpm-4.2)
devel(librpmdb-4.2)
devel(librpmio-4.2)

And that's why I rebuilt elfutils !

About glibc, how can I know a new glibc will be upload soon ???
