1)This is not a support list, please use a more appropriate list, such as 
newbie, cooker, or the alt.os.linux.mandrake newsgroup, where you will 
actually find people who run 9.1, or a web-based forum such as 
http://www.mandrakeusers.org
2)If you have any eth0* device, it is likely not an apic issue (AFAIK), 
but it would help if you actually posted exactly what you have tried 
relating to enabling/disabling apic/acpi
3)If you don't succeed by running drakconnect in expert mode, and 
unchecking the "enable network hotplugging" checkbox, you will want to 
supply more information for (1). This will include things like:

a)the contents of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
b)The output of 'ifstatus -v eth0'
c)The output of 'cat /proc/cmdline'
