Then your DHCP server is broken, rather fix it than setting manual DNS
everywhere.

dhclient works fine on all networks I have tested it on, and that is
quite a few, including with MS dhcp server, ISC dhcp server etc etc.

I don't think anyone could have drawn a reliable final conclusion from
what the user had posted, but the fact that they did not even get an IP
address seems to show that something besides the dhcp client is broken,
most likely their card does not support ifplugd, and MII_NOT_SUPPORTED
was not set in their ifcfg-eth0.
