from now on (that is 7.1), a full rescue is given the way redhat is doing.
it's called rescuedrakx (i've just invited that name so we know what we're
talking about).
just boot on install cd and type "rescue".

It gives you a full rescue with a real vi, ext2 *and* reiserfs, perl (!), kernel
with *many* modules.

it's not full featured yet, but it should be well polished for next version.


providing tomsrtbt is a good idea anyway for people not having access to a cdrom
drive. (even if the rescuedrakx can work via nfs or ftp :)
