This is *NOT* true.
I don't know if any of you has tried to use the rescue of the
7.1-beta ????
Damn, put your CDROM in the drive, issue "rescue" at prompt. And that's
it, no disk is needed to boot the system.
Even issue "modprobe reiserfs" and everything will go magic if you need
that to rescue your system.
Please try to be more constructive than constantly flaming us and not
reading the answers we post about the subject we're talking about. What I
mean is that this rescue new stuff of 7.1 has already been mentioned
several times on this list..
