Hi, I'm coding a tool that notifies the user when new media updates are available. When there is new media updates, it will ask the root password to download the hdlist and then let you choose what to upgrade (it could also automatically select the packages to be updated). There is a pre version in contrib, known as mdk-check-update-gnome. But it's quite crappy, this version is a Gnome applet, the new one will use the notification area and so will run on kde, gnome, rox, and other freedesktop.org compatible desktops :) I'll try to put update this in contrib this week-end PS: please post with Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Olivier Blin
