IT WORKS!! I didn't have to compile the module but I checked out the new "make xconfig" and find it quite nice! I get the feeling that the 2.6 kernel is FASTER under VMware - but I can't prove it - it does feel quicker. Now on to other problems . . . Thanks for your assistance! Robert
