[EMAIL PROTECTED] bgmilne]$ rpm -qR cvs|grep krb5 libgssapi_krb5.so.2 libkrb5.so.3 [EMAIL PROTECTED] bgmilne]$ rpm -q --whatprovides libkrb5.so.3 libkrb51-1.3-2mdk > If I prepare rpm package i put additional > packages needed to run particular program. Kerberos is missing in cvs.spec... No. They are picked up automatically at rpm build time, so that they always get the right version of the library. Unfortunately the reason for cvs breaking was due to a change in a library cvs depended on, which did not trigger an update of that library (a very peculiar thing, since kerberos was providing one version of the library and libext2fs2 another version). > This is a bug. No, it is not. It was a temporary error condition during an update which fixed other bugs ... addressing it in any other way could cause other issues, whereas: # urpmi --auto-select fixes it. > Another thing - Cooker is testing distribution and if you treat it as > not beeing > designed to resolve errors (every) existing in any package so it's strange. And cooker is also labelled as such, and if you find a problem, your first step should be to ensure you are up-to-date, and then check if the problem persists.
