------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-13-08 12:41 ------- I'm afraid that the main reason is that the version in cooker is so old. The latest version of miniChinput is 0.1.9. http://sourceforge.net/projects/minichinput miniChinput 0.1.9 works perfectly in 9.2. The ONLY setting needed is change IME style to "over the spot" in qtconfig, otherwise you cannot use it in KDE applications. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I've installed 9.2beta1 with zh_CN locale. As described in 4408, miniChinput was not installed by default. So, I installed it by hand from RPMDrake. After restarting X, I couldn't input Chinese, either. The doc says I should press Ctrl+Space to invoke the IME, but nothing happened when I pressed it. The alphabet keys I pressed are still English letters which will appear on the screen as it is.
