miniChinput has been updated.

Qt is already configured for "Over The Spot" when choosing Chinese at install
time or trough localedrake; or it should do.
Can you look at your $ENV{HOME}/.qt/qtrc file, XIMInputStyle option;

I've installed 9.2beta1 with zh_CN locale. As described in 4408, miniChinput was 
not installed by default.

So, I installed it by hand from RPMDrake. After restarting X, I couldn't input 
Chinese, either. The doc says I should press Ctrl+Space to invoke the IME, but 
nothing happened when I pressed it. The alphabet keys I pressed are still 
English letters which will appear on the screen as it is.
