Well, if you think openning up a terminal then type cdrecord -scanbus is friendlier than k3b does it for you then...be it. I'll be shocked if a john doe user even knows the command ;) Please note at the beginning of my email does say if MD wants to be the most user-friendly distribution. It means I'm not thinking for myself cause I use cdrecord command line to burn my CDs everytime. -Larry
