the md5sums are changing all the time :( smartctl reports a single reallocated sector on one of the drives, the oders are OK, but i have to pull the system down for captive test (root is raid-5 over the 4 drives) do we have( can we have) smartmontools in the rescue-mode of MDK-9.2 CDs any idea which rescue CD supports HPT374 (probably kernel-2.4.21 and newer) and has smartmontools ? memtest is running the last 5 hours and not a single error. and ... i changed only the mainboard(and the CPU) i never had such troubles with the older one ? svetljo
