Running XFree86-4.3-10mdk

The file /etc/X11/Xmodmap is not automatically loaded by xmodmap when X starts up. I have to do it manually.

Also, the right Windows key is still not being made the Multi_key.

xmodmap does not work well with XKEYBOARD externsion is 4.3 you can use /etc/X11/Xkbmap instead if you figure how to use it

i put a .Xkbmap in my home directory which works ok
only prob is that something is changing the behaviour of group toggle,
so sometime i am stuck with '5' as an euro-key and have to use 'leftalt-5'
to get a '5'. it is a minor problem so i dinna look into it.
The kde thingie for changing keyboard maps still does not permit me to
use the settings i like.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ cat .Xkbmap
-symbols "us(pc104euro)+group(lalt_toggle)+compose(menu)+altwin(super_win)"

L.
