Hi,
I have few troubles with kernel-2.6.0-0.test3.1mdk-1-1mdk.i586.rpm It doesn't reconize my network card and maybe because of that I have no entries in netstat -rn Not even localhost? When I load it manually with modprobe I can see it in # lsmod but when I try /etc/init.d/network start or restart and /etc/init.d/internet start or restart Still doesn't work?
And with "pump" if DHCP, or "ifconfig eth0 TheIPYouWant" ?
... This is what it says about sound cards: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 0.9.4 (Mon Jun 09 12:01:18 2003 UTC). ALSA device list: No soundcards found. There is a soundcard but nevermind about that I hate noise :)
Same problem here, seems ALSA is in kernel and not as module.
... Also first time I saw full acpi tables and they were great :)
That's the point I haven't tell to cooker yet and I do so now :
It's the first time (with 2.4.22 too) I can see the % charge of my Dell C610 laptop batteries. Before it was only saying that a battery was present, with 0%.
_But_ the problem is that at halt (or reboot : shutdown sequence), stopping acpi service give a kernel panic, it's not really boring cause it doesn't block, freeze or similar the shutdown sequence, the kernel panic is displayed then the other services are stopping [OK]
Bye,
Fabien
