Product: ftp-client-krb5
Component: ftp-client-krb5
Summary: ftp client hangs when trying to use ls
Product: ftp-client-krb5
Version: 1.3-2mdk
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: ftp-client-krb5
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
For background, I am using kernel 2.6.0-test4 (works well for me btw).
When I connect to a site anonymously, cd works, but the ls command says it
completed but nothing appears in the terminal window and it does not accept
further commands. Ctrl-D and ctrl-D don't work either and it has to be killed
off by closing the terminal window. The same problem exists with gftp (I it uses
ftp under the bonnet).
The symptoms are similar to other kernel 2.6.x related bugs such as the one for
gnome-terminal (now sorted).
