same error here, but I cannot play anything at all. No way of dd-ing
anything to /dev/dsp. It tries to open the device and then just sits
there, fuser doesn't report anything on /dev/dsp. Modules cannot be
removed, I always get a "device busy" though I cannot see what's
supposed to use it.

same here: sis7012 which worked okay with older cooker. I don't have
continious cooker on that machine so I cannot tell what the previous
versions were.

btw, I cannot test kernel 0.8mdk because the kernel-source rpm on
uninett reports md5 mismatch which in turn stalls gendistrib.
