Hi,

I have been struggling with all the 2.4.22 kernels since I am not able
to shut down pcmcia. This means I need to hard reset my laptop every
time I want to turn it off. I have filed a bug, but now I have been
able to get some messages out my logs from this event:

Aug 25 22:09:12 acerlap kernel: orinoco_lock() called with hw_unavailable
(dev=ca794800)
Aug 25 22:09:12 acerlap /etc/hotplug/net.agent: NET unregister event not supported
Aug 25 22:09:23 acerlap kernel: unregister_netdevice: waiting for eth1 to become free.
Usage count = 2

The last line is repeated until I pull the plug.

I use pcmcia for a wireless card (which comes up and works fine). I
have tried with two different cards, but both uses the orinioco driver
and the result is the same.

Does anyone have any where I could start to look for clues?
