We got hit pretty hard I guess.
"Critical Update" is what they used to call them. I always thought that was a perfect description for Mandrake. "Install the latest Critical Update by inserting the first installation disk from MandrakeSoft and select the 'Use Entire Disk' option." ;-) It's what I did three years ago. Worked fine. Getting crazy? It's been insane for a couple weeks. It got so bad last week that large portions of Shaw's "High Speed" internet system went dead for a few hours. I heard it wasn't just in Edmonton either. Maybe they need to make a foray into "niche marketing" by somehow setting aside a reserved bank of IP addresses available only to GNU/Linux and Apple users. Let the Windows users infect each other all they like. It would make me smile for certain. <g> > > So having three linux boxen on the network is very low-maintenance (well if > you ignore the fact that two run cooker with urpmi twice a day). > ;-) > > Austin I spend a lot more time trying to help people (Windows users) stay on line and "Up" than I do at anything else. Cuts severely into my cooker testing time. This was supposed to be a hobby. :-) Charlie -- Edmonton,AB,Canada Registered user 244963 at http://counter.li.org
