------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-29-08 17:39 ------- what's the status for it? [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~] rpm -qpR /RPMS/postfix-2.0.13-3mdk.i586.rpm | grep sasl cyrus-sasl libsasl2.so.2 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~] rpm -qpR /RPMS/libldap2-2.1.22-5mdk.i586.rpm | grep sasl libsasl2.so.2 I suppose this should work now. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: With postfix-2.0.12-2mdk sasl2 support was enabled. For people that use LDAP and have postfix configured to look into the LDAP database, configuration as such in main.cf: ldap_cache=no ldap_lookup_timeout=10 ldap_query_filter=(mailacceptinggeneralid=&s) ldap_search_base=dc=eijk,dc=nu ldap_server_host=localhost ldap_server_port=389 postfix currently will not run. The following error messages apear in syslog: Jun 14 10:13:57 taz postfix/master[1039]: warning: process /usr/lib/postfix/proxymap pid 21712 killed by signal 11 Jun 14 10:13:57 taz postfix/master[1039]: warning: /usr/lib/postfix/proxymap: bad command startup -- throttling I think that this may be due to the fact that ldap is linked against sasl1 and postfix is not linked against sasl2.
