Yup, I double-checked before typing this (though that doesn't rule out the possibility that I'm simply thick). I thought it curious that it needed to be my *default* boot image, so I changed things around. Still no good. I'm off to sleep. Maybe it'll magically fix itself overnight (though I doubt it :). - John
