------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-29-08 18:25 ------- This is useful in at least two scenarios: 1) sometimes you have to reinstall mandrake because some program (official or unofficial) has stopped working, and deleting its configuration directory won't be enough. In that case, it is not pleasant to redownload the rpms. 2) I want to install mandrake to a friend of mine without a fast internet connection. Ito would be nice to put the rpms installed in my system to his computer and rpm -Uvh *.rpm. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Please, add an option in the mandrake control center to keep rpms in /var/cache/urpmi/rpms. It's a pity to use the command line just for that reason.
