first described situation is a no-no for me, reinstalling mandrake because
programs stopped working is really kinda weird. second described situation is
strange, it's rare that you want to post-install exactly the same packages as
another one. and why your friend doesn't burn CDs? how does he install?
fabrice, maybe I'll try to do that configuration dialog after 9.2, though I feel
they are really not very important, people who want advanced options tend to use
urpmi, or know how to use commandline.

Please, add an option in the mandrake control center to keep rpms in
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms. It's a pity to use the command line just for that reason.
