------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-09 16:27 ------- Same problem with the latest cooker network install.img. (dated 28.08.2002 18:14:00). It freezes at the "Ok booting kernel" stage. Passing various options to the kernel does not seems to allow booting. Redhat 9's 2.4.20-8 kernel boots and installs normally on the same machine. But the installer doesn't install a kernel 2.2 but only a 2.4.x kernel, so i can't boot on it ! I don't understand why it doesn't work with kernel 2.4, it crash on the word "booting on kernel..." I've tried somethin like linux mem=112M, but it doesn't work anymore... I've Mandrake 9.1 RC2
