At the same time, the panel freeze, and focus is frozen too. To get a usable kde then : I have to go to a text console with CTRL-ALT-F1, kill the kcontrol applet return to KDE ALT-F8 switch virtual desktop using my internet keyboard special key I uninstalled and reinstalled all font and kde packages. I tried on a new kde user. Same problem. Anyone can check this behaviour in cooker please ?
