But I noticed that if I open the fonts selector there, then I select some fonts in the list, sometimes the preview stays blank. If I select another font, then the previous font again, this time the preview works. This could be related. At the same time, the panel freeze, and focus is frozen too. To get a usable kde then : I have to go to a text console with CTRL-ALT-F1, kill the kcontrol applet return to KDE ALT-F8 switch virtual desktop using my internet keyboard special key I uninstalled and reinstalled all font and kde packages. I tried on a new kde user. Same problem. Anyone can check this behaviour in cooker please ?
