Hi all, has anyone notice that OpenOffice.org is very sluggish? I have:
OpenOffice.org-l10n-en-1.1-0.rc3.2mdk OpenOffice.org-1.1-0.rc3.2mdk OpenOffice.org-help-en-1.1-0.rc3.2mdk OpenOffice.org-libs-1.1-0.rc3.2mdk The only thing that is not installed is the latest Bitstream Vera fonts as they weren't in my mirror when I installed OO.o. (it complained and I had to --nodeps it). I do have ttf-bitstream-vera-1.10-1 though. Redrawing the widgets with the install from the above RPMS is very slow - you can watch it happen. If I swap the old .rc3 back in (from OpenOffice.org) it's back to its spritely self. Could the lack of the Vera fonts rpm cause this? Or is is some other issue - like a compilation or linking error, or a bad patch? Please let me know how I can provide more information. Cheers! Paul.
