It is nice that network cards are now set to not be started at boot (no
more error messages from ifup <interface> before pcmcia is up), but the
problem is that when the network is restarted, the pcmcia network cards
aren't ...

It may not be too serious in most cases, since if the user restarts the
network service, they can just as easily restart pcmcia (or reinsert
their card).

The problem comes when the user runs drakconnect (or some similar wizard
like tool which should do everything). If the user configures a pcmcia
card, and agrees to have the network restarted, the pcmcia card won't
come up, even if it were running before.

I don't have any suggestions on solving this one ...
