The custom kernel must contain every driver needed for the installation. You can't provide modules. It must also be less than 700KB to fit on the floppy. Just create a boot floppy out of blank.img (the way you would do with images/cdrom.img), then mcopy vmlinuz a: where vmlinuz is your custom kernel. ---------------------------------------- if not, what would you use for the pre-install?
